New experiences

Peyton sure had fun this weekend experimenting with her new toys, going to a food and wine tasting with mom and grandpa and grandma Summers, and of course, eating her rice cereal! Thanks to our friend Kerry for loaning us this fun exersaucer. Peyton enjoyed trying to bend and squirm to put the toys in her mouth. We also got her the rainforest jumperoo which she already loves and will entertain herself for quite some time-which makes me excited so maybe I can get some things done around the house! She is still a little short for it so we had to put a pillow underneath.:) Saturday was the food and wine festival in the mountains of PA-it was so pretty there and we couldn't have asked for better weather. On a funny note, Grandma Summers enjoyed carrying Peyton around, posing as her mom. Hahaha...well, really people just assumed she was Peyton's mom and she didn't correct them! She also liked being carded so we let her have her fun. It was a good weekend hanging out with family and enjoying new experiences. But it may have been a little too much stimulation because after going to bed at 7pm Peyton woke up 3 times last night and STILL got up at her "normal" time of 7am! Not to mention Tucker the cat got in on the action and woke us up as well. YUCK-mom and dad are tired this Monday morning. I told Rick that its hard when Peyton wakes us up that much but its "allowed" and expected but the cat-that is another story!!
