Sorry about neglecting the blog these last few weeks! We've been on the move, visiting friends and family over the last few weeks in VA. A few weekends ago we were able to celebrate Grandpa Hostetler's birthday, hang out on a rainy Saturday at the Maple Sugar Festival, had play dates with Jonah, Anna Roe, Catherine, and Jane Martin, and Peyton enjoyed being with all her aunts and uncle Ryan.:) Its hard to believe that tomorrow our little munchkin will be 11 months old! And I've just started planning her birthday party which we'll be back in Carolina for. Despite being jobless, we're looking forward to being back in the South and in our house with OUR stuff! We're going to miss Grandpa and Grandma Summers and Aunt Elyse very much though!! Even though we don't love this concrete jungle they call Jersey, we wouldn't mind being back to be close to them. So in the mean time we'll be praying for direction for the future and enjoying the time we have together as a family.
Peyton is growing by leaps and bounds every day. She keeps us on our toes and we love watching all her new "tricks". She loves to feed herself-absolutely no more baby food, is cruising along all the furniture, standing up all on her own, practicing walking behind her push toys and while holding onto our hands, and is cutting her 7th tooth! As she gets more active we will appreciate the space of our house. Watch out for updates as we have some fun events coming up the next few weekends-Easter weekend at the Lansdowne Resort and Grandpa Hostetler's wedding!
